Love proves to be more powerful than the tyrant Lucio Silla – ancient Rome’s most infamous dictator. Passion, intrigue and redemption take centre stage in Mozart’s first masterpiece. Opera Atelier’s staging created a sensation at the Salzburg Festival and Milan’s La Scala. Don’t miss Toronto’s opera event of the season! Running April 7 to 16, 2016 at the Elgin Theatre, Toronto.

Starring Kresimir Spicer and Inga Kalna fresh from their triumph at La Scala. With Meghan Lindsay, Peggy Kriha Dye and Mireille Asselin, as well as dancers of Atelier Ballet and Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra.

Lucio Silla runs approximately 3 hours, including one intermission.
